Whatta weekend.....When I finally put my head to the pillow on Sat. evening, it was late night, and I had a wake-up for Hamina at 4.30 am on Sunday. Am I nuts??? Yep...Different day, different dogs, different judge and still we were the best :-). YAHOO!
Under judge Dagmar Klein no easy placings were offered. She only gave 5 Excellents for the basenjis (19 total) which of 3 came to Bulldobas - for the 3 that we had entered :-). Junior Luka - Bulldobas Brown Sugar - is growing up nicely and was just cool to handle him, boy he just flies!!! Our two handsome boys ended up Winners Dog (Finny, BIS Ankhu Baroos At Bulldobas, CC!!!) and ResWinner Luka - ResCC :-)! And sweet Kerttu, SBPIS Top Puppy -07 CH & LC CH Bulldobas Dream of Kenya BOB! It was such a long wait for the Groups as basenjis were judged (surprise...) at 9 am but we decided to stay - having such great company and sunny weather it was not a bad way to spend lazy Sunday: Thank you Satu, Irja, Tero, Ari & Janne for a nice day!!!!
ps. Kerttu made a cut for the final 7 in Group under Soile Bister AND we got some lovely new photos of kiddos, thanks to Tero! Herewith a photo of BOB girl and 2 handsome boys aka Luka & our tigerMANpuppy Jippu!
