Jyväskylä INT and some healthresults

Busy busy busy.....but here the nutchell what I can catch up with:

Mr Robin's fanconi marker test has become back as prob. CLEAR! Also Duke's testresult has arrived: prob. Indeterminent.

After a longish break at the showscene we attended to Jyväskylä INT show on Sunday 22nd Nov. There were entry of 5.700 total and 30 in breed (judged by breedspecialist, Mr Simon Parsons of UK) and we did fine :-).

In breed, 2nd Best Male Timon (CACIB), 3rd Best Male Duke (first time in juniors and a ResCC) and 4th Best Male Rytmi with ResCACIB. Finny won Intermidiate Class with Excellent and was followed by Karma also with Excellent. Rene won Open males also with Excellent.

In females only junior Tempo who had too much energy to stack, could have killed for a goodie and wanted to show some very nice _new_ basenjigait jumping around a little LOL! Needless to say she got Very Good1 - next time she has to be in showleash at the time we should have been in the ring already for a while so no more panic please :-)! This was Tempo's 4th show as whole and in the last one she went BOS with her first CC (BOS-pup in a show before, to our Duke) so we're holding on here :-). Maisa won her class, best bitch, BOB, CC & CACIB and no less than GROUP-2 under Hans Lehtinen! Neela is very nicely (uh...) falsepregnant so I did not except lots from her, she went ok and we're ok with RunnerUp in CH-class with Excellent - not Miss Neela in Top Shape :-).

We showed the breeder's group....and despite of my *I don't know if we should stay, we could just get back home as most have long travels ahead* folks decided it all for me so we stayed, showed the group (Timon, Rytmi, Rene and Miss Maisa - 3 combos) and what did we get less than BIS-1....BIS-judge was sweet Paavo Mattila, who last year, in this same show, judged basenjis and made Kerttu BOB, Rene in his first show in juniors BOS (and later on he was placed Royal Canin BIS-1 junior of the whole weekend!) and my breeders group BOB (later BIS-2). All my dogs did fine and it was lovely to see that he appreciated them even this year while doing BIS breeder....

Thank you my dear friends who came, showed, helped....You're the best!
