After having a long day on Sat. and a lovely dinner at Ari & Janne (HUGE THANK YOU for Janne - whatta great cooking!!!) later, it was a new day and new show.
The caotic traffic- and
parking problems close to Fair Center continued and even though we were there 2,5 hours before the ring started, we just did not find a parking place. Sigh. After tons of swaring we finally managed to find a
spot 'at decent distance' but oh I just hate that dragging stuff back & forth!
(Photo of Dora & Rytmi from Sat. on left- thanks Rami, and of Ami from Sun. on right - thanks Simon!)
We did not have many dogs in ring from 'us' but the ones that were entered did just great. A biggest winner of the day was young Duke who went to win BOTH Nordic JuniorWinner-09 and Nordic Winner-09 titles with BOB and his 1st CC! WOWWEE! Karma was 2nd in his class with Excellent. Since I had promised to show Finny until the end Rene was not entered. Papa-Finny started great by winning his class and ended up 3rd Best Male with ResCACIB! PUS! In CH-males Rytmi was 2nd this time, followed by halfbro Timon and our lovely oldie Ami (boy Ami continues to look just super!). Also Soni got Excellent but did not place in class.
In females only Dora, Tempo and Tuuli entered and they did just fine. Dora was a little hard to get settled to show; pity, as our tight judge Matti Tuominen just loved her. How ever, I can understand it was a long trip for Dora and being in such a big place without Marita must have been dramatic for a baby. She ended up being 3rd Best Bitch anyway with a ResCC and I am very happy of that. When she settled and showed, she really was looking great :-). Tempo looked and performed just super and was 3rd this time, also with Excellent. Tuuli went 2nd in CH females with Excellent.
Even if our dogs entered were between 1 year and 7 and out of 4 combos, we showed a breeder's group just for fun - being not as even as the Winners' Group but got a very nice critic again and an Honour Price. Thank you for Matti T!
